You can bring your animals to PARC Animal Shelter in Marikina – but we need roofed cages and owners to leave their complete contact info with PAWS in order to return animals. Haven’t written a poem in a long, long time. Hope you enjoy this simple one I’ve written tonight. I just thought of all the things I’m thankful for, of the negativity that we fight each day. How some people who have wonderful lives tend to pity themselves, or pity others based on things they view as an unfixable problem, as an ailment… when in fact, some people who have less then we do, or have bigger problems or certain handicaps – enjoy life more because they take life as a gift. Sometimes we just need to be reminded that life is a wonderful and happy journey.

I am not a poor man,
Nor am I blind,
Yet I still believe I suffer,
Because of what I cannot find.

I am not a cripple,
Or a beggar on the street,
Yet I still believe I suffer,
For I’m always in defeat.

I am not a leper,
Or a bastard son,
Yet I still believe I suffer,
For the riches I haven’t won.

No, I am not an orphan,
Or a father of an unwanted child,

For the relationships left untied.
